How does one create humanity within them? Is it a loving parent? A lover? Goodwill towards fellow man? How does humanity die? Does it die because of goodwill gone wrong? Abandonment? The murder of millions? What is the cause of humanity's death? What restores humanity? What happens when our mottos become, never again and whatever it takes?
Radioactive is asking these questions. Questions about our very humanity, what shapes it, and what takes it away. When it's the very people that are supposed to protect us, what are we to do? Do we follow in their downfall? These are the people we see as Gods losing their humanity. What happens then? What happens when our heroes betray us? The villains are the people we turn too, and in the end, we lose what is left of our humanity.
Do we cry 'never again' or 'whatever it takes'? What happens when a small group retains their humanity? They stay defined as heroes. Are they what can save us from our darkest despair? Can it be as simple as starting over?
Radioactive is a Marvel/DC Crossover. We take place in our universe. We have no word count. Canons and originals are both being accepted.?
